These A4 Word of the Day mats are great for children in KS2 or older to explore an area or to consolidate their learnt knowledge. Any chosen word is placed in the scroll.

Sections:

• Define the word of the day
• How many letters, vowels and consonants
• Write a sentence to include the Word of the day’
• Write a poem
• Think of and write three antonyms
• Think of and write three synonyms
• Draw your sentence

There are two sets in this bundle. One with KS1 on the mat and the other with KS2 omitted for those children who are of an older age group but still need to develop these skills.
